This is getting too freaky!
Yesterday's prediction:
Again, watch for around Baja, Mexico for a 5 and a 3/4 around the
midsection line of the US in the next 48 hours.
The reality:
There was a 4 in San Francisco, right on the midsection line I keep
referring to! FYI, Baja, Mexico also had a quake a little lower than
predicted 3.3 but exactly where I said.
I don't think I want to do this anymore, it is getting too scary.

Here was the prediction 48 hours ago:
I think there will be a 4/5 south of California, along the Mexico, South America western border in the next 48 hours. It is moving around thering of fire.
Here is the reality:
There was a 5 in Mexico yesterday afternoon and a 5 in South America.
Just be aware the 5's are moving on our side of the ring of fire. There
was a 4.6 in Texas an hour ago. The afterschocks are slowing down by
Asia. This may mean we get more 5's in the next 48 hours. Again, watch
for around Baja, Mexico for a 5 and a 3/4 around the midsection line of
the US in the next 48 hours.

Calif: 354
More 5's continue off the coast of Africa and in Iran. These are
creating aftershocks moving the world number up. Typically, the world
number is 260 because there's been a 7+ quake with lots of aftershocks.
With the world number still low, if we don't see the 5's continue to
break out, there will be a bigger 7+ quake. So far, the pattern of 5's
breaking out is holding.
My prediction still holds for California and our side of the ring of fire
from yesterday.
World: 171
Calif: 351
The 5's and even a six continued by Asia, as expected. Hopefully, this
continues. It takes the pressure off our side of the ring.
But the bigger news we had the 4 in California south of the line within
24 hours of prediction.
I don't think there will be a five yet. I think there will be a 4/5
south of California, along the mexico, south America western border in
the next 48 hours. It is moving around the ring of fire.
World: 174
Calif: 354
The 5's continued back in Asia, Europe and even a 6 in Russia. This
kept the 5's down on our side of the ring of fire. There will be more
aftershocks by the previous quakes in that region in the next 48 hours.
If not, we will have a large one (6+) on our side.
There were two 3+ quakes in Nevada over the weekend. They are bigger
than normal and I believe a result of the quake off the coast of Oregon
last week. If you draw the line down the mid section of the US you will
see the larger quakes happening just north of it. Including the one in
Virginia last week. To balance this out, we will see some more 3/4 and
maybe a 5 south of the line in the next 72 hours.

Well, as expected world number down and California up. FYI, as I predicted
yesterday, there was a 6 in Indonesia near one of last week's 5's. I am
starting to think scientists should be able to give better advisories,
the challenge is where. But, they do seem to occur near other quakes.
Again, the world number will go down in the next 24 hours, if there is
not a 7 quake.
Now the 5's spread to way off the coast of Oregon yesterday. There was a
5+ there. This may start to increase 5's in California if other 5's do
not continue in Asia. Look for slightly higher quakes 3/4 in the next
48 hours in California.
Remember the world number is especially low. California is inching back up to
safer territory (500) but it is not there yet.
World: 191
Calif: 377
World number will trend down in the next 48 hours. It looks like the
shaking by Asia is slowing. But southern California is starting to shake
more with little ones and an occasional 3/4. Is this the shift? We
need more 5's in the next 24 hours. If not, there will be a 6+ by one
of the 5's that happened last week.
World: 190
Calif: 343
It's been a pretty steady cycle of 5's breaking out to hold the world
number just under 200. This is a good cycle because pressure seems to
spread and dissipate with the 5's. The 5's are starting to increase in
South America, need to watch if it comes up north to Mexico.
Lot's of little shaking in southern California. The most in the last
month. I expect this to continue for the next 24 hours.
World: 184
Calif: 372
World number trending down as expected and quakes are smaller in
magnitude this week. Expect the same for the next 24 hours by Asia,
Europe and the Middle East.
But we did get a 3 off the coast of Petrolia. I think this means all
the shaking on the other side of the ring of fire is starting to cause
some movement on this side. In the past month the activity seemed
isolated from each other. It could be nothing, so I'll keep my eye out
to see if this starts to change the pattern in California.
World: 185
Calif: 384
World number trending down as expected. 5's continuing with some
spreading to south America. Some 4's in Europe, due to shaking. Look
for more 5's in the next 48 hours.
California -- lots of little shakes. This is keeping Calif. number
steady. This trend should continue for the next 24 hours.
World: 191
Calif: 373
For the next 48 hours the world number will trend down unless there is a
larger quake. Based on the series of 5's, I think we will see more 5's
and aftershocks like last week. If the number goes to 160, I'd be
concern for a bigger quake.
California's number will be dropping this week as well. Again, we need to see
an outbreak of smaller quakes to prevent a big one. If we see a big one,
look to off shore by Petrolia or around Baja California, Mexico.
World: 216
Calif: 382
Outbreak of aftershocks continue from the 5's. 6 new 5's occurred on the
eastern side of the ring of fire. This is pushing the world number up, a
good thing. When there is small continued shaking there are less bigger
quakes ... but remember this is still a low number. It is just trending
positively.
California - there was a 4.6 in Nevada above the midpoint line of the US
and a 3 in Calif. Below the midpoint line. This is interesting because
yesterday there was a 3 in San Francisco. Clearly there is elevated
shaking across the midpoint line.
So, typically we will see the larger quake off shore by Petrolia. It
can be a 6 or a 7. The other place we will see a larger quake is around
Baja California, Mexico. If we see a larger one on the east side of the
ring of fire in the next 72 hours, that is where it will be. Otherwise,
we will continue to see an increase in 3 - 4 size quakes in California.
